- Actually, a better solution is to install Line Interrupt controllers on all
- extensions EXCEPT the modem. That way they will get a "dead line" if the line
- is in use by the modem. They are available from AT&T (stock # MY24195).
- Since I installed them (not to expensive - cost $20.00 for the house at all
- extensions), I haven't had a single problem.
